Video installation and headphones

This video is presented on a television monitor equipped with a pair of headphones that notes the appropriation of pop music. I use the karaoke type of music by making my own voice disappear and by leaving the vocal track usually used to learn the melody. By this simple process, I try to divert the value of the song and to raise doubt on the seduction links that produces the video-clip universe. I propose a series of interpretation games in link with the repulsion and fascination I hold towards this part of the music world. The title is in reference to a song from the former pop music group N’Sync, name of which plays on synchronisation.
